I am building a React app, in typescript, which makes calls to a graphql api. I find myself torn between a wish to type the graphql response thoroughly and correctly (in which case every field of the response is optional, because, of course, the client may or may not request this field), and a wish to have types that are convenient to work with (i.e. types for which I can be certain about the ...

So i run it and display output goes well. But there is a little bit problem with typescript in App/app.ts as below image: App/app.ts: I put a cursor on over them and it says: "Cannot compile modules unless the '--module' flag is provided.". So, I'm using PHPStorm 2020.2 and TypeScript 3.9.7 and I STILL see this same issue. I've been trying to find a way to fix this for a couple of days now with no success. Question: Tag: typescript,visual-studio-2015,angularjs-2.0,tsd Trying to setup Angular2 with Visual Studio 2015RC on Windows, and following TodoMVC application demo for ng-conf 2015 instructions, I get to the point where tsd reinstall produces the following output:
The reason I found it was not working because in tasks.json we specify following options "command": "tsc" "isShellCommand": true, So, visual studio code tries to run command tsc on command line and it does not find tsc. So, installing typescript globally using npm solved the problem.
It is trying to use the full path to the tsconfig.json file, and then stripping the slashes from that path. Obviously this isn't going to find the correct file. If I manually issue tsc -p tsconfig.json from the command line, tsc works correctly. This seems like a VSCode configuration error, but I am new to VSCode and don't know how to fix it.
